Atmotube Announces Business Name Change to ATMO®

Important News

San-Francisco, July 28, 2021

July 2021 marks the 5th anniversary of the official production launch of Atmotube, the world’s first consumer-level air quality tracker. Since then Atmotube’s team has become one of the most respected product engineering companies in the field of air quality monitoring and has released four generations of portable air pollution monitors that are currently used in 78 countries. This growth has led to the need for the evolution of the business’s scope and the creation of a corresponding new brand identity.

Today we’re pleased to announce that we’re changing our corporate and business names to Atmotech Inc. and ATMO® respectively. The brand “Atmotube” will still be used in the names of our models – Atmotube PLUS and Atmotube PRO.

The new corporate name more accurately reflects our expertise in sensing technology, air quality monitoring hardware, and data analysis. ATMO as a new business name emphasizes the global reach of our products and services and also highlights a wider range of air quality-related product offerings coming in the near future. As a developer of products for both businesses and consumers, we set out to orient our new company strategy to provide a comprehensive analytical platform for indoor and outdoor air quality and environmental assessments. ATMO more effectively vocalises this.

The new name is effective immediately and new branding materials will be introduced throughout Q3 2021. A new website with a new domain name www.atmo.eco will become available in fall 2021.
