We’ve released a new and improved iOS app for Atmotube PRO and PLUS models in November 2022. There are currently two apps on the App Store for use with various ATMO devices:
The new Atmotube app is an updated version of the older app. The new app is specifically designed to be used with Atmotube PRO and PLUS devices and includes new features, performance optimizations, and bug fixes.
The old version of the Atmotube app has been renamed as Atmotube 1.0/2.0. This app will be kept as a legacy app for use with Atmotube models 1.0 and 2.0. It will be supported but not developed further.
Historical data stored on the previous version of the Atmotube app will not automatically transfer to the new version as they are different apps. To create analytics reports and get pinpoints on your personal air quality map, you will have to start your data collection from scratch. If you need the data stored on the previous version, please consider backing up the data before updating. Data can be exported by using the “Export Data to File” option in the app settings. A CSV data backup will be exported.
After installing the new iOS app, please remove the older version from your smartphone. Running both apps simultaneously will cause interference and incorrect readings.

Yes, the Atmotube 1.0/2.0 app will continue to work with the Atmotube PRO and PLUS models; however, going forward, the Atmotube 1.0/2.0 app will not receive regular updates. So, we recommend upgrading to the newer version if you’re going to be using the app with the Atmotube PRO and PLUS models.
No, you do not need to do anything if you’re using Atmotube 1.0 or 2.0 devices. The newer Atmotube app does not support Atmotube 1.0 or 2.0 devices.
