Incorrect Ambient Temperature and Humidity

The ambient temperature/humidity sensor inside Atmotube is digital and can not be calibrated. Its accuracy is ±0.5°C (±0.9°F) and ±3%RH.

The readings may be affected by:

  • device charging
  • extensive heating (e.g. hold in hands, sun)
  • moving device from cold to warm environment

Before checking ambient temperature or humidity make sure:

  • make sure you don’t hold the device in your hand for a while
  • wait at least an hour after charging
  • make sure the device is not exposed to direct sunlight

You can fine-tune ambient temperature and humidity in the app Advanced settings.
