What is a Particulate Matter Meter?

A particulate matter (PM) meter is a device designed to measure the concentration of microscopic particles suspended in the air, known as particulate matter. These particles vary in size and are typically categorized as PM10 (particles with a diameter of 10 micrometers or less), PM2.5 (2.5 micrometers or less), and PM1 (1 micrometer or less).
